1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 bay leaves
1/4 cup parsley
1 cup carrots
1 cup peas
1 bell pepper
1 cup corn
2 tablespoons butter

Rinse the rice under cold water until the water runs clear.

Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium heat until shimmering.
