Chimi, a beloved street food from the Dominican Republic, reflects the vibrant culinary culture of the island. Often enjoyed at roadside stands, this burger showcases the rich flavors of local spices and fresh ingredients, making it a favorite among locals and visitors alike. Today, variations of chimi can be found in many Latin American countries, each adding their own twist to this delicious sandwich.

Season the ground beef with sofrito, garlic, All purpose Seasoning, black pepper, soy sauce, and beef flavor bouillon; mix well.
Form the seasoned meat into patties of desired size.
Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
Prepare the chimi sauce by mixing mayonnaise, ketchup, orange juice, Worcestershire sauce, and mustard in a bowl.
Slice the Bolillo breads in half and toast them lightly on the grill or skillet.
Assemble the chimi by placing a cooked patty on the bottom half of each roll.
Top the patty with coleslaw or chopped cabbage, sliced tomatoes, and optional avocado.
Drizzle with additional sauce if desired and add the top half of the roll to close the sandwich.
