Slowly add 3 oz of super fine sugar to the egg mixture while blending until dissolved.

Add 2 oz of añejo tequila slowly to the mixture.

Add 2 oz of Oloroso sherry slowly to the mixture.

Add whole milk to the blender and incorporate it.

Add heavy cream last to avoid whipping it too much.

Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for several hours or up to a day or two before serving.

Pour the chilled eggnog into chilled punch glasses.

Grate fresh nutmeg over the top of the eggnog before serving.
