medium
4 servings
Servings4
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup boiling water
1/4 cup cold water
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup green onions, finely chopped
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 tsp sesame oil
1/4 tsp black pepper

Quantities are estimated based on standard recipes for your convenience. The actual ingredients used in this video are accurate.

1

In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour and salt.

2

Gradually add the boiling water to the flour, stirring with a fork until the mixture is crumbly.

3

Add the cold water a little at a time, mixing until a dough forms.

4

Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth. Cover with a damp cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.

5

In a separate bowl, mix the chopped green onions, vegetable oil, sesame oil, and black pepper.

6

Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a thin circle on a floured surface.

7

Spread a thin layer of the green onion mixture over each circle of dough.

8

Roll each circle tightly into a log, then coil the log into a spiral shape. Flatten gently with your palm.

9

Heat a pan over medium heat and add a little oil. Place the rolls in the pan and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.

10

Remove from the pan and let cool slightly before serving.
