2 dl milk
1kg flour

Dissolve 7g dry yeast in some milk and add 1 teaspoon of sugar.

Mix together 4 eggs with 100g of sugar.

Add 2 dl buttermilk and 400g melted butter to the egg mixture along with some salt and the rest of the milk (total 2 dl).

Combine the melted yeast mixture with 1kg flour and knead into a dough.

Wet a kitchen towel with water, wrap the dough with it, and place it inside a cool water bath for 2 hours.

Divide the dough into 3 pieces, knead and roll out each piece with some flour.

Cut each piece into 8 equal parts and spread some plum jam on top.

Bake for 25 minutes at 180°C (approximately 350°F).

While still hot, generously coat each roll in powdered sugar.
