Stir in minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.

Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spoon, and cook until browned.

Stir in diced tomatoes, green olives, raisins, cumin, oregano, salt, and black pepper.

Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

While the picadillo simmers, prepare the cooked white rice according to package instructions if not already done.

Serve the picadillo over a bed of white rice.
