Fry chicken pieces briefly in butter.

Remove chicken from the pan and keep warm.

Peel and dice an onion and fry it gently in the remaining butter until softened.

Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of paprika, 0.5 teaspoon of ground black pepper, and 0.5 teaspoon of sea salt to the onion.

Cover the spices in boiling water, adding enough to cover the mixture but not much more.

Stir in 2 tablespoons of plain flour and use a hand blender to make the sauce smooth.

Add the chicken back to the pan, cover with a lid, and simmer for 15 minutes.

Stir in 2 tablespoons of double cream before serving.
