Serving Up Comfort - Scalloped Potatoes & Ham!

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Grease a large pan with 2 tablespoons of butter.

Dice 2 medium onions and add them to the pan.

Cook the onions for 1-2 minutes until they start to become translucent.

Add 6 cups of ham to the pan with the onions and cook for another couple of minutes until heated through.

Add Liquid Smoke to the ham and onion mixture for extra flavor.

In a separate bowl, combine 1 and 1/4 cups of half and half, 1 and 1/4 cups of heavy cream, and 2 and 1/2 cups of flour. Whip this mixture until smooth and set aside.

Slice 8 lbs of potatoes into thin rounds, ensuring they are not clumped together.

Layer a third of the sliced potatoes in the greased pan until the bottom is covered.

Spread a third of the ham and onion mixture over the potatoes.

Add a third of the cheese over the ham and onion mixture.

Repeat the layering process two more times, using the remaining potatoes, ham and onion mixture, and cheese.

Cover the assembled dish with Reynolds Wrap and bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.

Remove the foil and continue baking until the top is golden and bubbly.
