pork shoulder
4 diced onions
butternut squash

1 can of tomato sauce

Cut the pork shoulder into large squares (large dice).

Place the pork in the slow cooker.

Add 4 diced onions to the slow cooker.

Peel and seed the butternut squash, then dice it and add to the slow cooker.

Add a pinch of salt to the slow cooker.

Add ground cumin, ground cinnamon, Mexican oregano, and chili powder to the slow cooker.

Add cocoa powder for a mole flavor.

Add minced garlic to the slow cooker.

Add masa harina to thicken the stew.

Pour in chicken broth to keep it moist while cooking.

Add 1 can of tomato sauce to the mixture.
