Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
Add 1 to 2 tablespoons of olive oil to a skillet on medium-high heat.
In a bowl, mix 6 ounces of plain Greek yogurt, 1 tablespoon of harissa paste, 1 tablespoon of fresh squeezed lemon juice, and season with salt and pepper.
Mix thoroughly and refrigerate the yogurt mixture to let flavors build while cooking.
Season 6 boneless skinless chicken breasts with salt and pepper, placing them in the skillet.
Cook chicken for about 4-5 minutes until browned, then flip and cook for another 5 minutes.
Remove chicken from the skillet after a total of 10 minutes of cooking.
Reduce heat to medium and add 1 whole onion cut into 12 wedges and 2 tablespoons of minced garlic to the skillet.
Cook the onions for about 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.
Add 2 tablespoons of tomato paste to the skillet and cook until it browns slightly.
Add 1 can of drained and rinsed chickpeas and 1/2 cup of chicken broth to the skillet.
Add 1/4 cup of harissa paste and bring to a simmer.
Add the chicken back into the skillet, burying it in the mixture.
Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake at 425 degrees Fahrenheit for about 20-25 minutes.
After baking, remove from the oven and garnish with fresh cilantro and a lemon wedge.
Serve with the harissa spicy yogurt sauce on top and on the side.
