Garlic Parmesan Pork Chops with Scalloped Potatoes

Start by adding 1 cup of heavy cream into an aluminum pan to make the cheese sauce for the scalloped potatoes.

Add about 1/2 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of pepper to the cream.

Add the equivalent of 2 cloves of fresh garlic, minced, into the cream mixture.

Add 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese to the cream mixture.

Add 1/2 cup of shredded parmesan cheese to the cream mixture and stir to combine. Set aside.

In a 9x13 baking pan sprayed with vegetable oil, slice 4 large potatoes using a mandoline slicer, leaving the skins on.

Mix the cheese and heavy cream mixture with the sliced potatoes in the baking pan.

Cover the baking pan with foil and bake in a 375°F oven for 40 minutes.

After 40 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 20 minutes to brown the top.

Season 4 center-cut boneless pork chops with grated parmesan cheese, salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, and minced garlic on both sides.

Preheat a skillet and add olive oil.

Fry the pork chops in the skillet over medium-high heat for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.

Once done, serve the scalloped potatoes and pork chops.
