2 bay leaves

800 mL water
4 tablespoons olive oil
1 vegetable stock cube

Preheat 800 mL of water for 2 minutes in the microwave, oven, or kettle

Dissolve the vegetable stock cube in the preheated water and set aside

In a pot, sauté 4 tablespoons of olive oil, sliced onion, and finely sliced garlic over medium heat

Add diced red pepper and bay leaves; cook until the onion is translucent
