1 whole medium onion
1 pound smoked sausage
1 can seasoned collard greens
1 can seasoned mixed greens
1 can black-eyed peas
1 can black beans
1 can Great Northern beans
1 can corn
2 bouillon cubes
chicken broth
1 tablespoon vinegar
1 packet ranch dressing mix

Prepare for hurricane by making swamp soup.

Add 2 tablespoons of butter and a little olive oil to a cast iron Dutch oven over medium heat.

Chop one medium onion roughly and add it to the pot.

Chop one pound of smoked sausage into bite-sized pieces and add it to the pot with the onion.
