Welcome to the cooking channel, today we are making Danish Dream Cake.
For this recipe, we need 2 eggs, 1 cup of sugar, 2.5 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, 1 cup of milk, and 1 cup of butter.
In a bowl, add 1 cup of sugar and 2 eggs, then beat them together.
Add 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence to the mixture.
Mix in 1 tablespoon of baking powder and 2.5 cups of all-purpose flour.
Beat the mixture until it reaches a ribbon consistency.
Now, fold in the mixture gently.
Pour the batter into a baking pan and smooth the top.
For the topping, we need 1 cup of brown sugar, 1 cup of coconut flakes, and 1 cup of butter.
Melt the butter in a saucepan, then add 1 cup of brown sugar and 1 cup of coconut flakes, mixing well until combined.
Spread the topping over the cake once it is out of the oven.
Bake the cake until it is golden brown and cooked through.
