Knead the dough until it no longer sticks to your fingers and has a texture that is not too hard or too soft.
If the dough is too hard, add a little more water and knead again until well combined.
Place the dough in a bowl and let it rest for 15 to 20 minutes.
After resting, ensure the dough stretches smoothly without breaking.
Divide the dough into five balls for five empanadas.
Roll out each ball on a floured surface to prevent sticking, using a rolling pin or any available cylindrical object.
Fill each rolled dough with cheese and seal the edges tightly to prevent bursting during frying.
Heat oil to a medium temperature for frying, ensuring it is not too hot or too low.
Fry the empanadas for about 5 to 6 minutes, turning them over and adding oil on top as needed.
Remove the empanadas from the oil once golden brown and serve.
