40ml hot water (3 tbsp)

240g sugar (1 1/4 cups)
300g flour (2 1/2 cups)
60g cocoa powder (1/2 cup)
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
3 tbsp strong, cold coffee
20g melted butter (1 1/2 tbsp)
2 packets vanilla sugar
20g cocoa powder (3 tbsp)
160g powdered sugar (1 1/4 cups)

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Grease a rectangular baking dish.

In a large bowl, sift together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.

In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until combined.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
