Avocado Deviled Eggs

6 large hard-boiled eggs
1/4 cup red onion, finely chopped
1 ripe avocado
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp chili powder
1 tsp lime juice

Start with hard-boiled eggs.

Place eggs in cold water and bring to a boil.

Boil for about 10-12 minutes.

Let eggs sit for a minute or two after boiling.

Peel the eggs quickly after cooling to avoid difficulty.

Cut the hard-boiled eggs in half and remove the yolks into a bowl.

Mash the egg yolks in the bowl.

Add chopped red onion to the mashed yolks.
