Preheat grill to medium heat.
Peel the plantains and cut them lengthwise.
Brush the cut sides with vegetable oil.
Sprinkle salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder evenly over the plantains.
Place the plantains cut-side down on the grill.
Grill for 5-7 minutes until charred and tender.
Flip the plantains and grill for another 5-7 minutes.
Remove from grill and drizzle with lime juice.
Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
