Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
Grease and flour baking pans.
Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
In another bowl, beat eggs and sugar until fluffy.
Add melted butter and vanilla extract to the egg mixture, mixing well.
Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture until smooth.
Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to wire racks to cool completely.
Prepare the filling by melting dark chocolate and mixing it with heavy cream until smooth.
Layer the cooled cakes with chocolate filling and chopped walnuts.
Cover the entire cake with remaining chocolate filling.
Chill the cake in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
