Fill a glass half with ice.

Push plum tomatoes through a sieve to extract real tomato juice.

Add 50 ml vodka to the glass.

Pour in 100 ml of tomato juice.

Add 15 ml lemon juice.

Add a pinch of salt and a pinch of pepper.

Add 5 dashes of Worcestershire sauce.

Add 5 dashes of Tabasco sauce.

Mix the ingredients together.

Take a celery stalk and break off the outer sticks, then place it in the glass.

Top up the drink with a few more ice cubes.

Add a sprinkle of black pepper on top.

Add an aromatic herb like parsley or chervil, giving it a smack before placing it in the drink.

Taste the drink to check the balance of flavors.

For the Barbacoa Bloody Mary, fill the same glass with ice again.

Add 50 ml vodka to the glass.

Pour in 100 ml of quality tomato juice.

Add 5 dashes of Worcestershire sauce.

Add 15 ml lemon juice.

Add 1 heaped teaspoon of barbecue sauce and mix it up.

Add sea salt to taste.

Place a celery stalk in the drink.

Add some herbs to the drink as well.

Add smoked bacon to the drink.

Use a crinkle cutter to slice a dill pickle and add it to the drink.

Add an olive to the drink.

Sprinkle celery salt on top.
