1

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

2

Lightly coat a 3-quart baking dish with cooking spray or oil.

3

In a large skillet, cook the bacon until crispy, about 8-10 minutes.

4

Remove bacon from the skillet, reserving 2 tablespoons of bacon grease in the pan.

5

Add 8 oz of ground pork, chopped onion, and chopped red bell pepper to the skillet with the reserved bacon grease.

6

Fry the pork, onion, and bell pepper together, breaking up any hunks of meat, for 8-10 minutes until cooked through.

7

In a large bowl, pour in both cans of baked beans.

8

Add the cooked pork, onion, and bell pepper mixture to the bowl with the baked beans.

9

In a measuring cup, combine 4 cups of ketchup, 2 tbsp of brown sugar, 2 tbsp of Dijon mustard, 1 tbsp of molasses, 1 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce, and 2 tsp of apple cider vinegar, and stir to mix.

10

Add the combined mixture to the bowl with the baked beans and stir everything together.

11

Add half of the cooked bacon to the bean mixture and stir again.

12

Transfer the bean mixture to the prepared baking dish and sprinkle the remaining bacon on top.

13

Bake in the preheated oven for 55-60 minutes until hot and bubbly.
