1

Prepare the ingredients: dice the tomato, onion, garlic, and jalapeno; remove seeds from the pomegranate; dice the apples and pears into small bite-sized pieces.

2

In a large deep pan, add 2 lbs of bork (pork and beef) and break it down over medium-high heat. Season with salt and pepper to taste and cook for about 10 minutes.

3

Add the garlic, onion, tomatoes, and jalapenos to the meat mixture and cook for 5 minutes.

4

Mix in the spices and one shot of cherry, continuing to cook over low heat while stirring occasionally.

5

In a separate pan, cook the butternut squash and plantain in a little bit of butter until somewhat soft and lightly seared.

6

Add the cooked butternut squash and plantain to the meat mixture along with the cat sitron and craisins. Cook for about 2 to 3 minutes.

7

Mix in the diced fruit (apples and pears) and cook for about 3 to 4 more minutes.

8

Remove from the burner and cover for about 10 to 15 minutes to let the flavors meld together.

9

Serve with a side of white rice, garnished with freshly chopped parsley and pomegranate seeds.
