Honey adds natural sweetness with a unique flavor.
Add sugar to milk and mix with yeast, then set aside.
Combine butter with bread flour in a mixing bowl.
Add the yeast mixture to the flour and butter to form a dough.
Knead the dough until smooth and let it rise for 1 hour until doubled in size.
Mix Velveeta cheese with melted butter until well combined and set aside.
After the dough has risen, release the air and separate it into 6 equal parts.
Roll each part into a circle.
Place a generous amount of the cheese and butter mixture in the center of each circle.
Fold the circle over and press the edges to seal.
Add more cheese and butter mixture in the middle and fold again, sealing the edges.
Let the formed butter flaps rise for another 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350°F and bake for 20-25 minutes.
Brush the finished butter flaps with melted butter.
