Grease the banana leaves with a little oil to prevent sticking.
Pour the batter into the prepared banana leaves, filling them halfway.
Steam the cakes over boiling water for 20-25 minutes until set.
Remove from steamer and let cool slightly before serving.
Garnish with grated coconut and sesame seeds before serving.
