Dissolve custard powder in half a cup of milk to form a smooth paste and set aside.

In a pan, add the remaining milk and sugar, mixing well.

Boil the milk over medium heat while stirring to prevent burning.

Gradually add gelatin powder to the boiling milk while mixing to avoid lumps.

Once boiling, add the custard paste to the milk and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously until thickened.

Remove from heat and pour half of the custard mixture into a 9x6 inch cake tray, spreading evenly.

Add red food coloring to the remaining custard mixture and pour it over the first layer, spreading evenly.

Dissolve jelly powder in 200 milliliters of boiling hot water and pour it over the custard layer while still hot.
