Whole wheat flour adds more nutrients.

Avocado oil is healthier, while vegetable oil is more budget-friendly.
Dissolve yeast in 1 ⅔ cup water with 1 tsp. sugar.
Mix in 4 cups bread flour until soft and easy to mix.
Add 2 tbsp. olive oil and 2 tsp. salt, mix to incorporate.
Cover and let rest for 30 minutes.
Soak hands in water and fold the dough's 4 sides to the center.
Lift and slap the dough into the bowl a couple of times.
Cover and let rest for another 30 minutes.
Grease the tray with olive oil and transfer the dough into it.
Spread the dough, cover with another tray, and let rest for 30 minutes.
Dimple the focaccia with fingers, sprinkle with water and coarse salt.
Bake at 440°F (230°C) for 20 minutes.
Transfer to a wire rack to cool.
