1 cup milk
3/4 cup sugar
2 cups cream

1 tablespoon vanilla
6 eggs
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup cornstarch
4 oz chocolate
1/4 cup cream
1 tablespoon butter

Mix 1 cup milk with 3/4 cup sugar until dissolved.

Add 2 cups cream, 1/8 teaspoon salt, and 1 tablespoon vanilla. Chill for five hours.

Pour mixture into ice cream maker and run for stated time (25-30 minutes).

Pour into storage container and freeze overnight.

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Line a cookie sheet.

Separate 6 eggs. Beat the egg whites with 2/3 cup sugar until very stiff.

Beat the egg yolks and mix in some egg whites, then pour the whole bowl into the egg whites. Fold well.

Add in 1/2 cup flour and 1/4 cup cornstarch. Pour into the lined cookie sheet and bake at 400°F for 10 minutes.

Roll up the cake and allow to cool.

Cut the cake into two even parts, saving one half for another roll.

Roll out and fill with ice cream. Roll back up and chill again overnight.

Take 4 oz of chocolate and 1/4 cup cream and melt the chocolate in the microwave for 1 minute.

Stir until it cools down, then add in 1 tablespoon of butter and stir.

Pour ganache over the log and smooth it out. Freeze again until ready to serve.
