Prepare the dough by mixing flour, yeast, warm milk, melted butter, and salt until smooth.
Let the dough rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
While the dough is rising, sauté chopped onions in butter until translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add ground meat to the onions and cook until browned, about 10 minutes.
Mix in chopped mushrooms, garlic, and season with black pepper and caraway seeds; cook for another 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and let the filling cool slightly.
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Roll out the risen dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
Cut the dough into circles using a cutter or glass.
Place a spoonful of filling in the center of each circle.
Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.
Place the filled pastries on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Serve warm with sour cream on the side.
