Reduce heat to medium, cover, and simmer until chicken is cooked through, about 15-20 minutes.

Stir in butter and chopped green chili; cook for an additional 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and mix in fresh cilantro and lemon juice.

Serve hot with injera or rice.
