Combine flour, sugar, cardamom powder, milk powder, saffron, oil, water, yeast, and salt to form a soft dough.

Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it. Allow it to rise for 1-1.5 hours until doubled in size.

Punch down the risen dough and divide it into small balls (about 8-10). Roll each ball into a flat, round disc about 1/4 inch thick.

Brush the discs with egg and sprinkle sesame seeds on top.

Heat a cast-iron skillet or non-stick pan over medium heat. Cook each disc for about 1-2 minutes on each side until golden brown spots appear.

Alternatively, preheat the oven to 200°C and bake for 8-10 minutes, or use an air fryer at 200°C for 6-8 minutes.
