Minchi | À La Barrios

Finely chop 3 shallots and 1 clove of garlic.

Heat a drizzle of vegetable oil in a pan.

Add the shallots and garlic to the pan and sauté until well toasted.

Chop a piece of ginger and add it to the sauté.

Add about 500g of ground beef and let it brown well.

Season with 1 tablespoon of rice vinegar, 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of white pepper, and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.

Add 1 potato cut into very small cubes that has been previously fried and mix everything well.

For the rice, measure 1 cup of jasmine rice and wash it until the water runs clear.

Transfer the rice to a rice cooker and add 2 cups of water.

To serve, use a ring mold to position the rice in the center of the plate, then add the minchi on top and a fried egg.

Remove the mold and sprinkle with chopped parsley, a bit of ground cinnamon, and white pepper.
