Rehydrate the dried fruit in a mixture of orange juice, rum, brandy, and beer.

Let the dried fruit rehydrate for a while.

Add the dry ingredients (breadcrumbs, brown sugar, flour, spice) into a big bowl.

Stir in the egg and the rehydrated fruit into the dry ingredients.

Mix everything together until well combined.

Fill the mold with the mixture to the top and flatten it out.

Cover the mixture with parchment paper and then foil.

Steam the pudding for 2 hours.

After steaming, take it out and turn it out onto a plate.
