  • 4 slices of bread
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. 1In a medium bowl, combine the drained tuna, mayonnaise, diced celery, diced onion, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  2. 2Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
  3. 3Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  4. 4Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, in the skillet.
  5. 5Spoon half of the tuna mixture onto each slice of bread in the skillet.
  6. 6Top each with a slice of cheddar cheese.
  7. 7Place the remaining slices of bread on top, buttered side up.
  8. 8Cook for about 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown, then carefully flip the sandwiches.
  9. 9Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the other side is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
