Rinse the red kidney beans under cold water three times.
Add 12 cups of warm water and the beans to a pot on high flame and bring to a boil.
Boil the beans for 1 hour and 20 minutes or until tender, adding an additional 2 cups of water after an hour.
Strain the beans and set the liquid aside for later use, measuring it as needed.
Add chicken broth to the reserved liquid (or use water if broth is not available).
Rinse the jasmine rice under cold water three times, discarding the water after each rinse.
In a medium pot over medium heat, add oil and the bouillon cube, mixing well.
Add garlic powder, onion powder, and the reserved liquid from the beans, and mix well, breaking down the bouillon cube.
Add ground cloves, coconut cream, and margarine, and mix.
Add hot pepper and thyme, and let it come to a boil.
Add the rinsed rice and stir.
Once the liquid has evaporated, lower the flame and cover with a tight-fitting lid.
Let the rice cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
