1

Grind the walnut little by little to avoid oil extraction, then mix with ground cardamom and sugar powder.

2

Boil water with sugar powder on high heat, add lemon juice when boiling, and boil for another 15 minutes, then cool to room temperature.

3

Add sugar powder and yeast to warm milk and mix. After 10 minutes, strain the milk into a large bowl, add eggs, vanilla, salt, and warm melted butter, then mix.

4

Gradually add 3.5 cups of flour and knead, adding half a glass of flour in parts until combined. Divide into 2 large and 6 small parts, shape into logs, cover, and let rest for 10 minutes.

5

Spread the dough, grease the baking dish with butter, place the first large dough, add oil and filling, then arrange the small dough, adding oil and filling again, repeating until the last small dough.

6

Spread oil on the last small dough without filling, then place the second large dough on top, cut into baklava shapes, mix egg yolk with vegetable oil and brush on top, sprinkle with nuts.

7

Bake in an oven preheated to 150 degrees until the top hardens, then filter remaining butter over the cut areas and return to the oven until browned.

8

Pour the syrup over the baklava and serve.
