16 ounces unsalted butter
2 teaspoons vanilla

Let 1 pound of unsalted butter and 1 pound of cream cheese soften to room temperature for about 20-30 minutes.

Place the softened butter and cream cheese in a blender.

Turn on the mixer to soften the butter and cream cheese further.

Gradually add powdered sugar to the mixture, doing it low and slow to avoid a cloud of sugar dust.
