1

Cut green onions into long strips about 2 inches, separating the white and green parts.

2

Smash 5 cloves of garlic and finely chop them.

3

Grate about 2.5 teaspoons of ginger.

4

In a small container, mix 3 tablespoons of soy sauce, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 1 teaspoon of chicken bouillon powder, 0.5 teaspoon of dark soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of corn syrup, 2 tablespoons of shaoxing wine, a few shakes of black pepper, 5 tablespoons of water, and 1 tablespoon of cornstarch. Mix well to create the sauce.

5

In a wok or pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat.

6

Add 500 grams of ground beef and sauté for 7-8 minutes, breaking it up into small pieces until cooked through.

7

Remove the beef from the wok and set aside.

8

In the same pan, add 2 tablespoons of oil and heat over medium heat. Add the white parts of the green onions, garlic, and ginger, stirring for about 1 minute to infuse the oil.

9

Add the thicker parts of the green onions and dried chilies, stirring for another 30 seconds.

10

Pour in the sauce and simmer for about 1 minute until it thickens slightly.

11

Add the cooked beef back into the pan and stir for about 1 minute until everything is well coated and glossy.

12

Turn off the heat and add the remaining green onions and half a tablespoon of toasted sesame oil, mixing well.
