Start by melting 4 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan.

Add 4 tablespoons of all-purpose flour to the melted butter and whisk together for about 1-2 minutes.

Gradually add 1 cup of heavy cream and 1 cup of whole milk to the mixture, stirring until thickened.

Mix in 1/2 cup of pecorino Romano cheese, a pinch of nutmeg, and a pinch of salt and pepper to the sauce.

Remove the crust from Texas toast and toast the slices.

Layer the toasted bread with 4-5 oz of sliced turkey.

Pour the Mornay sauce over the turkey.

Top with 2 slices of fried bacon and 2 wedges of tomato.

Sprinkle paprika and chopped parsley on top before serving.
