1 tablespoon complete seasoning
1 tablespoon adobo
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 cup coconut milk
1/4 cup fresh parsley
1 tablespoon fresh thyme
2 cups basmati rice
1 teaspoon salt
1 scotch bonnet
as needed parchment paper

Add water to a pot and rinse black beans before adding them to the water.

Smash garlic and green onion, then add them to the pot with the black beans.

Bring the pot to a boil, then reduce the heat to number two and cook until the beans are tender.

Separate the cooked beans into another pot and add grapeseed oil to the pot.

Add Haitian epis and cloves to the oil and let them fry.

Add half of the cooked beans to the pot with the epis and cloves.

Season the beans with non MSG chicken base, sea mushroom seasoning, complete seasoning, adobo, and black pepper.

Stir the beans and add the liquid from boiling the beans, then taste the liquid for seasoning.

Add a little salt and coconut milk to the pot, then allow it to come to a boil.

Add fresh parsley and thyme to the liquid, then add a little more salt.

Wash the basmati rice and use a two to one ratio of water to rice if needed.

Once the liquid is boiling, add the washed rice to the pot.
