Parmesan cheese

Shuck the Pacific oysters by inserting the tip of an oyster knife into the hinge and twisting until it pops.
Slide the knife underneath the top shell to release it and remove any shell fragments.
Completely release the oyster from the shell and place the shell on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil to keep it upright.
Place the oysters directly on a really hot grill.
Top each oyster with about 2 teaspoons of softened butter mixed with parsley, garlic, and lemon juice.
Grill the oysters for about 2 minutes, watching for bubbling.
Remove the oysters from the grill as soon as they start bubbling, even if the tops are still a little bit raw.
