💰Cheaper: microwave popcorn

Microwave popcorn can be more convenient.

1

Add 3 tablespoons of coconut oil to a pot on medium heat.

2

Wait for the coconut oil to melt.

3

Add 3 popcorn kernels to the melted oil as testers.

4

Once the testers pop, add the remaining popcorn kernels to the pot and cover with a lid.

5

Shake the pot to coat the kernels and remove from heat for about 30 seconds.

6

Place the pot back on the heat, slightly venting the lid, and shake occasionally until popping slows down.

7

Remove the pot from heat when popping slows down and pour the popcorn into a bowl.

8

For the air popper method, plug in the air popper and add popcorn kernels to the machine.

9

Wait for the popcorn to start popping out of the nozzle, being cautious of flying popcorn.

10

For the microwave method, take a paper lunch bag and pour in popcorn kernels.

11

Fold the bag down 3-4 times to keep it closed during microwaving.

12

Place the bag in the microwave and set it on high for around 4 minutes, listening for the popping to slow down.

13

Remove the bag from the microwave when popping slows down, being aware that it may explode a bit.
