Bourbon Chicken

1 pound chicken thighs or chicken tenders
1 teaspoon ginger
1 teaspoon garlic
hot sauce to taste
1 teaspoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
3 tablespoons brown sugar or honey
2 teaspoons cornstarch mixed with 1/4 cup water
vegetable cooking oil for frying

Cut chicken into equal sizes.

Marinate chicken with ginger, garlic, hot sauce, oyster sauce, bourbon, black or white pepper, and sesame oil.

Add 1 tablespoon cornstarch to the marinated chicken.

Mix sauce ingredients: 1 cup soy sauce, 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce, and 3 tablespoons brown sugar or honey.

Preheat frying pan over medium-high heat with vegetable oil.

Add marinated chicken to the pan, ensuring pieces are not stuck together.

Cook chicken for 5 to 6 minutes until browned and cooked through.

Add bourbon to the pan and let the alcohol burn off.
