1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
1/2 cup bourbon
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup apple juice
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp ginger, minced
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
2 tbsp vegetable oil
2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

In a bowl, mix together the bourbon, soy sauce, brown sugar, apple juice, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to create the marinade.

Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and place them in a resealable plastic bag or a bowl.

Pour the marinade over the chicken, seal the bag or cover the bowl, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
