Welcome to the channel and introduce the recipe for rosemary roasted potatoes.
Take about 1.5 pounds of potatoes and remove the skins if you like, or leave them on.
Chop the potatoes into one-inch cubes or pieces, noting that they don't have to be even.
Dry the potatoes the best you can and add them to a large bowl.
Add about 0.5 teaspoon of salt to the bowl, adjusting to your taste.
Add 1 teaspoon of garlic powder to the bowl.
Add 1 teaspoon of onion flakes for added flavor.
Add 1 teaspoon of dried rosemary, or use fresh if preferred.
Add black pepper to taste.
Pour 1 tablespoon of olive oil on top of the dried rosemary to hydrate it.
Mix everything together really well.
Prepare a large baking tray with baking paper on top.
Spread the potatoes on the baking tray, noting that they can touch but separating them is preferred.
Preheat the oven to 400°F (204°C).
Place the tray in the preheated oven and roast for about 30 to 35 minutes.
Every now and then, give the tray a hard shake to ensure even cooking.
Check for doneness by stabbing the thickest potato with a fork; it should go in easily.
If you want the potatoes browner, leave them in the oven for an additional 5 to 6 minutes.
