Pecan Pie Dump Cake #recipe

Melt 1 stick of butter in the bottom of a 9x13 pan while the oven preheats to 350°F.

Sprinkle 2 cups of pecans in a single layer over the melted butter in the pan.

In a bowl, combine 1 cup of packed brown sugar, 1/2 cup of water, 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla bean paste. Mix until well combined and syrupy.

Pour the brown sugar mixture over the pecans in the pan.

Sprinkle 2 cups of gluten-free yellow cake mix over the top of the mixture in the pan. Do not mix.

Add 9 pats of butter on top of the cake mix (optional).

Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes until golden and bubbly on top.

Remove from the oven and let it sit for 10 to 15 minutes to allow the syrup to set before serving.
