Melt 1/2 cup of butter with 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1/2 cup corn syrup in a saucepan over medium-high heat.
Whisk together the mixture until it comes to a boil.
Lower the heat and let it simmer for 2 minutes.
In a large mixing bowl, stir together 2 cups of Rice Krispy cereal with 3 cups of your favorite granola.
Pour the brown sugar mixture on top of the cereal and granola mixture.
Gently stir to make sure everything is evenly coated.
Pour the mixture into a 9x13 baking dish lined with parchment paper.
Sprinkle chocolate chips on top and gently press them down into the granola mixture.
Let them rest at room temperature for 20 to 30 minutes before slicing into bars.
