Soak dates in hot water to soften them.

Rinse dried hibiscus flowers three times to remove sand.

Add rinsed hibiscus flowers to a large pot.

Peel the pineapple and add both the skin and flesh to the pot with the hibiscus flowers.

Add about 10 cups of water to cover the ingredients in the pot.

Place on medium-high heat and bring to a boil.
