Drain the pineapple chunks and catch the pineapple juice in a bowl.

Place the pineapples in a large fruit bowl, reserving the pineapple juice.

Peel the apples, remove the core, and chop into small pieces.

Place the chopped apples in the reserved pineapple juice and let them soak for 5 minutes to prevent browning.

Stir to ensure all the apples are coated in the juice.

Cut the strawberries into pieces, reserving a small pile for decoration on top of the fruit salad.
