Peel and wash 4-5 potatoes.

Cut the potatoes into cubes, about 1 cm by 1 cm.

If the potatoes are larger, cut them into larger cubes.

Cut a red bell pepper into small cubes.

In a baking dish, combine the cut potatoes and bell peppers.

Add 1-2 teaspoons of salt, 1/4-1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1/4-1/2 teaspoon of hot paprika, adjusting to taste.

Add chopped garlic if desired, and 1 teaspoon of sweet paprika (optional).

Add 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika (optional) and 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise.

Add 2 tablespoons of silan (date syrup) and 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

Mix everything together, preferably using your hands for better mixing.

Spread the mixture in an even layer in the baking dish.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (high heat).

Bake until the potatoes are soft but still intact, turning occasionally with a spoon for even cooking.

A few minutes before the end of baking, sprinkle sesame seeds on top.

Gently mix to coat the potatoes with the mayonnaise and silan mixture without mashing them.

Return to the oven for about 5 more minutes until done.
