Whole wheat adds fiber and nutrients.
Warm up the milk and water slightly, then combine 2/3 cup milk and 1/3 cup water in a bowl.
Add 10 g of dry yeast, 0.5 teaspoon of salt, and 0.5 teaspoon of sugar to the liquid mixture; mix well.
Add 2 teaspoons of vegetable oil to the mixture and stir again.
Add the liquid mixture to 2 cups of flour and mix with a spoon, then switch to mixing by hand.
Cover the dough with plastic and let it sit for 1.5 to 2 hours until it rises.
After rising, split the dough into two portions.
Use parchment paper to stretch the dough into an oval shape.
Cut the edges of the dough to create a more rectangular shape.
Place 250 g of cheese close to the edges of the dough.
Fold the edges of the dough over the cheese to form a boat shape.
Place the khachapuri on a tray with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 250°C for about 15 minutes.
Remove from the oven, create a well in the center, and crack an egg into it.
Return to the oven for exactly 2 minutes.
Add a generous amount of butter on top before serving.
